11 Οκτ 2022 · Installing Windows 11 in a virtual machine on vSphere 8 is almost identical to installing previous versions of Windows. The change is that Windows 11 requires a virtual TPM device to be present in the virtual machine.
When creating a new virtual machine, using the vSphere Client, select virtual machine compatibility with ESXi 8.0 and later (hardware version 20) and choose Microsoft Windows 11 (64-bit) as the Guest OS Version. Note: If you see the following warning, it means you do not have a key provider configured.
8 Ιουν 2023 · To install Windows 11 in a native mode (meeting all system requirements) on VMware Workstation, create a virtual machine with UEFI support, Secure Boot and a virtual TPM chip. Open virtual machine settings, go to the Advanced tab and make sure that UEFI firmware is used for the VM.
Installing Windows 11 in VMware Workstation and VMware ESXi is relatively straightforward. You can satisfy the hardware requirements in both platforms by encrypting the hard disks and adding the virtual TPM device.

3 Σεπ 2024 · Since we are dealing with virtualization, you are not required to have the hardware components physically on the device, meaning that you can run a Windows 11 virtual machine even on a Windows 10 computer without TPM, Secure Boot, or UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface).
25 Ιουν 2021 · In the following walkthrough, I am installing Windows 11 Pro on a VMware vSphere 7.0 Update 2a virtual machine. I simply used the Windows 10 x64 operating system type for the install from Windows 11 ISO.
