The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) has partnered with Volleyball Australia to develop 8 curriculum-aligned lesson plans for primary school teachers. These lessons are appropriate for students in Years 3 to 6. Some games may require teacher modification to ensure they are accessible for all students.
Volley Progression: Partner up and volley cross court from a position in the middle of the service box working on keeping ball in the air (no bounce) and moving feet with each volley.

The activities within this module develop and reinforce responsible behaviors, while introducing volleyball skills that may be new to some students. All participants are given the opportunity to explore volleyball skills in a fun and engaging environment where all students can feel successful.

Volleyball Tennis (Singles) Purpose of Activity: The purpose of this activity is to allow students to gain control of the ball, practice hand-eye coordination and teach students how to move around to the ball. Prerequisites: Students should have basic control of the ball.
