Kenneth Robert Howard (September 7, 1929 – September 19, 1992), [1] also known as Dutch, Von Dutch, or J. L. Bachs (Joe Lunch Box), was an American motorcycle mechanic, artist, pin striper, metal fabricator, knifemaker and gunsmith.

Von Dutch said that people “wouldn’t accept it – it was like desecrating a shrine”. The job featured exquisite pinstriping and multi-coloured flame tips. Dutch had many talents beyond painting.
Von Dutch is particularly known for his intricate pinstriping work, which involves hand-painting fine lines and designs onto cars, motorcycles, and other surfaces. His skill and creativity in pinstriping earned him a reputation as one of the pioneers of the art form.
