You can receive the benefit when you have: 1. Worked 820 hours (about 16 hours a week) in employment in Washington during the “qualifying period.” 2.
Paid Family and Medical Leave gives Washington employees a way to take paid time off to care for themselves or a family member. You don’t have to worry about managing your employees’ claims or figuring out if they are eligible. Employees apply for Paid Leave directly with Employment Security Department.
1 Ιαν 2018 · Nearly every worker can qualify for Paid Family and Medical Leave if they worked a minimum of 820 hours (about 16 hours a week) in Washington during their qualifying period. The “qualifying period” is 12-18 months prior to the date of application for paid leave.
