I've been missing 24 hour Walmart since the pandemic changed everything. One of my favorite things was lurking around late at night, shopping for Christmas presents for the family when everyone at the house was fast asleep.
There is always someone walking around a Walmart at 1:00am coughing and stumbling towards the closest flu medicine display. During flu season the medicine isle of the store looks like a Tylenol PM zombie apocalypse.
Up here in Canada, 24 hour Walmarts don’t exist but in the US, it seems there are many and police have even made the quip: “only cops and criminals are in there” on some episodes. Is that adage true? Or do “normies” actually go to Walmart overnight to do legitimate shopping?
