28 Φεβ 2018 · In light of recent events, we’ve taken an opportunity to review our policy on firearm sales. Going forward, we are raising the age restriction for purchase of firearms and ammunition to 21 years of age. We will update our processes as quickly as possible to implement this change.

Most recently, in September 2019, we decided to no longer sell the ammunition that can be used in large capacity magazines on military-style weapons, which we do not sell. We also made a complete exit from handgun sales. We will focus our assortment of ammunition on the firearms we do carry.
Products subject to our policy on Firearms must also adhere to other Prohibited Products Policies including our policy on Firearm Accessories, Ammunition, and Game Guns or Walmart will automatically unpublish your item. 14 Μαΐ 2024 · As of now, Walmart hasn’t announced any additional changes to their ammunition sales policy. However, it is always recommended to stay updated by visiting Walmart’s official website or contacting their customer service for the latest information.
3 Σεπ 2019 · Following the El Paso, Texas, mass shooting, Walmart has now taken steps towards limiting the sale of ammunition to its customers as well as banning handguns at all of its stores.
