8 Νοε 2021 · BEIJING (AP) — Wang Yaping has become the first Chinese woman to conduct a spacewalk as part of a six-month mission to the country’s space station. Fellow astronaut Zhai Zhigang left the station’s main module on Sunday evening and Wang followed later.
Wang Yaping is used to making history. She became the second woman from China to enter space, on June 11, 2013, and the first woman to enter the core module of China's space station, Tianhe, on October 16, 2021.
