Step 1: Pick a Race. Four races and all of them are extremely fun to play. It can be stressful to pick just one, but do it anyway, just for now. Four races means figuring out 16 match ups, and that’s too much to learn at first. Pick one and practice with that race. It’s hard, I know, it feels like you’re limiting your enjoyment of the game.
Undead is the only race that doesn't have dispelling effects before tier 3, when they can get Destroyers. Dispelling effects are vital in many scenarios in order to dispell powerfull enemy buffs or debuffs. Another reason why tier 3 is so important is the Orb of Corruption.
