17 Αυγ 2023 · We either get empty responses from Steam or we can't even connect to Steam. It's not a DDoS attack. There is a way to authenticate to SCP:SL using Discord instead of Steam (the game was distributed on Discord in the past as well, but Discord shut down their Games Store) and that way works fine.
1 Νοε 2020 · Launch the game through your Steam Library. I had steam marked as "run this program as an administrator" for a while, but that didn't help. You may need to reinstall Steam.
Just a quick update- The problem got fixed. I just waited for like 2 or 3 hours after downloading it while steam was running and a gamecenter software will be running in task manager. Just leave it like this and it will work. Run the game from steam then and it will work. It goes to the terms and conditions popup
I have tried, verifying game files, reinstalling, running it as administrator and nothing has worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Authentication Errors As you may've noticed, there have been issues joining servers as of a few hours ago. We believe this is due to issues on Steam's behalf; as a result, we are unable to fix them. You may have also slow loading times to access other parts of the Steam community.
Possible fix for Steam users login issues. I think I found a way to solve the problem, it worked for me, just go to "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Warface" and delete the "GameCenter" folder to try to start the game.
