"Wins and Losses" is a 15-minute mini-episode which was produced and serves as a bridge between the fifth and sixth seasons. It was released to various websites in February 2007 as a promotion for the sixth season; it is currently available on the Season 5 DVD set.

It shows the immediate aftermath of the season 5 finale (SPOILERS if you haven't watched up until this point): Vic fights for an official police ceremony for the burial of Lem, but is denied. Instead, Lem gets a small private ceremony.
