Water genasi descend from marids, aquatic genies from the Elemental Plane of Water. Water genasi are perfectly suited to life underwater and carry the power of the waves inside themselves. Their skin is often shades of blue or green, sometimes a blend of the two.

11 Φεβ 2022 · Water genasi are descendants of marids, genies from the elemental plane of water. This heritage manifests in their traits as spells that manipulate water, but also as acid resistance and Acid Splash for some reason.
Water genasi, like all genasi, could be found throughout all of Faerûn but they were most common in certain locations, often tied to the water. Many water genasi were found around the Sea of Fallen Stars , particularly in the Vilhon Reach , along the Dragon Coast , or in Sembia , Aglarond , or Chessenta .

Is water genasi, a good race for a rogue. Sure! Shape Water is nice and can be used creatively if your DM allows it! Swim speed, amphibious, Wis is good for perception and insight, Con is good for everyone, acid dmg resist, why not! If the flavour is there, just do it!

Water Genasi. Most water genasi look as if they just finished bathing, with beads of moisture collecting on their skin and hair. They smell of fresh rain and clean water. Blue or green skin is common, and most have somewhat overly large eyes, blueish-black in color. A water genasi’s hair might float freely, swaying and waving as if underwater.
