10 Ιαν 2015 · Based on the temporal and spatial properties of atmospheric water vapor, we have to detect which water vapor components are derived from the PSI data and which might be eliminated by building the interferograms.
output water vapor maps can be used in tomographic ap-proaches to provide 3-D water vapor grids and to adjust the parameters of numerical atmospheric prediction models. The remainder of this section presents the recent related research on water vapor using remote sensing data and atmospheric models. The amount of remote sensing data available ...
7 Δεκ 2020 · Previous research has demonstrated several successful meteorological applications of interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) by mapping high-resolution precipitable water vapor (PWV) over large areas with satisfactory precision (e.g., 1–2 mm).
In this imagery, bright blue and white areas indicate the presence of high water vapor or moisture content, whereas dark orange and brown areas indicate little or no moisture present.
These maps show the average amount of water vapor in a column of atmosphere in a given month. The units are given in centimeters, which is the equivalent amount of water that could be produced if all the water vapor in the column were to condense.

These maps show the average amount of water vapor in a column of atmosphere by month. Water vapor is the key precursor for rain and snow and one of the most important greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
