The ZCWCP is part of a regional program that is investigating the role of Wattled Cranes as a flagship species for wetland conservation and management in Southern Africa.
We lead seven field conservation projects in the eleven range countries, closely monitoring the Wattled Crane’s status, distribution, and threats.
