23 Φεβ 2022 · When attaching scope-mount bases to the receiver, how much torque do you put on the screws for a rifle with moderate recoil (like a 270 Win., for example)? Also, do you routinely use blue Loctite on the screws or possibly purple Loctite?
28 Ιαν 2012 · Always get the ring and base vendor to provide you with their recommended torque spec as it can vary a lot depending on the ring material and screw diameter. Same with the base's torque values to your receiver or barrel.
