2024 marks the Greater St. Louis Area Council’s 39th annual Scouting for Food Good Turn. During its 38-year history, Scouts have collected more than 54 million cans of food. The 2024 campaign begins on Saturday, November 16.
18 Νοε 2021 · Scouts dropped off blue bags to homes on Nov. 13 and will return on Saturday to collect the bags filled with donations of canned goods and other nonperishable food. The food will be distributed to local food pantries.
Scouting for Food is an ongoing annual program of the Boy Scouts of America, [1] begun in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. [2] The program involves collecting for local food banks. It is organized at the local level throughout the country.
MERS Goodwill is proud to support the Greater St. Louis Area Council Boy Scouts of America in their 2022 Scouting For Food collection drive. NOW through November 26, 2022, drop off donations of canned food items, non-perishable food items and pantry items at participating MERS Goodwill locations.
We serve boys & girls from kindergarten to 20 and prepare them to make ethical & moral choices through the ideals of the Scout Oath and Law. Programs are Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing& Exploring. Building Business. Building Community.
