Renewals begin on September 1, 2024, and must be completed by October 31, 2024. If not completed by this date, your RN license will lapse, and you won't be able to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV until you reinstate your license.

Here are the steps involved: Log in to the WV RN Board Online Services: Access the online renewal portal using your credentials. Complete the renewal application: Update any personal information, answer practice-related questions, and affirm that you have met the CE requirements.
RENEWAL APPLICATION. You will fill out the renewal application every year between March 1st to June 30th by MIDNIGHT. If you fail to renew your license within this time your license WILL LAPSE, and you will have to Reinstate your WV LPN license to make them active again.
