At UNC-Chapel Hill, the complete lab safety plan consists of two components: The Laboratory Safety Manual, which covers general safety procedures for University laboratories, And an LSP prepared by the Principal Investigator to address hazards and precautions specific to a given laboratory.

Sites need to be able to provide evidence that the PI is actively involved in the conduct of the trial and is assuming the required responsibilities.
