All Pokémon creatures and their moves are assigned certain types. Each type has several strengths and weaknesses in both attack and defense. In battle, you should use Pokémon and moves that have a type advantage over your opponent; doing so will cause much more damage than normal.
9 Οκτ 2022 · When a Pokemon is weak to a type, all attacks from that type will hit for double damage. A common (and understandable) supposition, then, is that when a Pokemon is resistant, attacks do half-damage. This isn't quite correct; instead, it's 30 less damage.
For resistances, after you calculate the total damage done to your pokemon, if it resists the type of the POKEMON that attacked, subtract the number shown on the card before placing damage counters. Example: My machop uses low kick on your scyther.
