I was just watching the episode "The Glasses", and noticed that Elaine calls Kramer a hipster after he makes her upset while she is listing off the symptoms of rabies (guessing this was a joke about the symptom of irritability).
"Hipster doofus" - given by Kramer's girlfriend, the word accurately described and defined the character of Kramer for many of the viewers. Often taken as "someone who is intellectual and spirited, knowing the real design of life and not caring at all."

Forgive me because I must be too young to understand but the current term "hipster" doesn't really apply to him.
