At the interior of the transom's jamb, face nail the transom unit to the door unit using 1-1/4" trim nails along each side of the sash. Trim-out the both sides of the assembly -- including adding mullion to cover the seam beween the door head jamb and the transom's jamb. Follow trim-out tips below. Your transom/door unit assembly is now complete.
