The Stable Income Fund ("the SIF") is a conservative NYS Deferred Compensation Plan (“NYSDCP”) investment option with the objectives of preserving capital while earning a modest current income. Participants can move money in or out of the SIF on a daily basis without penalty.
The investment objective of the Stable Income Fund is to pro-vide an opportunity to invest in high quality fixed income securi-ties with an emphasis on safety of principal and consistency of returns. The Stable Income Fund invests in a diversified pool of investment contracts issued by high quality financial institu-tions.
