6 Ιαν 2013 · Kira's had this crusty irritation in the corner of her mouth for at least a month. Originally, I thought that maybe it was from catching her frisbee. I haven't played frisbee with her for at least a month. It looks like chapped, cracked lips. Ever see this? If so, how was it treated?

A papilloma is a small, benign skin tumor, commonly known as a viral wart. They can occur anywhere on the body — including bumps on the eyelid and between the toes — but canine oral papillomas specifically refer to warts on a dog’s lip, tongue, gums, and other areas around the muzzle.
Viral warts are noncancerous growths caused by a virus. The mouth lining and corners of the lip are most frequently affected, but the roof and back of the mouth can also be involved. Viral warts are most common in young dogs and often appear suddenly, with rapid growth and spread.

Puppies will be affected around the "t" of the face (mouth, eyes) and older dogs will even encounter it on the tongue.
