The Masters in Health Information Management (MSHIM) program prepares graduates for advanced careers intersecting medicine, business, data analytics, and information technology, as well as teaching for undergraduate HIM programs. Our program is offered 100% online, full-time and part-time.
The HIM program prepares students to work in the business side of health care. The program will prepare graduates to work in more than 75 careers in all aspects of health care management in multiple venue including hospitals, physician offices, insurance companies, and compliance offices.
The program is designed for applicants who are data savvy with a strong desire to pursue analytical roles in the healthcare industry. At just 36 credits, this flexible, hybrid program can be tailored to fit a busy schedule and can be fast-tracked and completed in one year.
