29 Νοε 2023 · A college credit is a unit that measures learning at accredited colleges and universities in the United States. According to federal guidelines, one college credit hour “reasonably approximates” one hour of classroom learning plus two hours of independent work [ 1 ].
Credit is a means of measuring and recognising learning whenever and wherever it is achieved. It can be used as a tool to ‘build’ higher education courses, and compare learning achieved in diferent contexts, but it’s also awarded to students when they’ve successfully completed a block of learning.
