16 Δεκ 2023 · Hi, I have a HP laptop from 2021 that will no longer charge (HP Laptop 15 R3-5/8/256 15.6). The issue seems to be the dc charging port/cable. The green sticker on it says: SUYIN P/N:CBL00666-0170. HP DC 90W P/N: 799749-Y17.

3 Μαΐ 2023 · The original cord is made of black/white/ & RED wires. The hp cord is made of black/white/ & BLUE wires. So after doing extensive research on repairing a laptop charger correctly, I found nothing answering the question if these are compatible.
