Recommended by Radhika Nagpal and Cal Newport in his book ‘ Deep Work ’, fixed schedule productivity is where you keep rigidly to your working hours. For example, if you work from 9 to 5pm, don’t be tempted to squeeze in an additional hour to complete that report due tomorrow.
The workload reflects the needs and goals of the clientele served and may include social work coverage outside of regular office hours. The caseload, in contrast, refers to the number of clients served at a given point in time. Multiple variables affect both caseload size and workload manageability:

The purpose of the CLWG was to respond to recurring requests from practitioners, supervisory personnel, and policy-makers regarding how to determine appropriate caseload sizes for case managers in health and behavioral health settings.
