The Plains of Abraham (French: Plaines d'Abraham) is a historic area within the Battlefields Park in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was established on 17 March 1908.
In less than 30 minutes, the destiny of Québec – and ultimately of New France – is decided by the famous "Battle of the Plains of Abraham." One key witness of the whole battle is Rear-admiral Charles Holmes, third in command under General Wolfe, who drafted a report to the Admiralty in England on September 18, 1759, onboard the warship Lowestoff.

The Battle of the Plains of Abraham, also known as the Battle of Quebec (French: Bataille des Plaines d'Abraham, Première bataille de Québec), was a pivotal battle in the Seven Years' War (referred to as the French and Indian War to describe the North American theatre).
Its main sites are the Plains of Abraham (98 hectares) and Des Braves Park (5 hectares). The 1759 Battle of the Plains of Abraham was the defining confrontation between the French and British Empires in North America.
