Self-Reported GPA Computation and Worksheet for Graduate Applications (after May 2009) Applicants for graduate study at the University of Florida are required to compute their college-level junior and senior year grade point average, unless your institution uses a non-traditional grading system. This GPA will be verified by the university.

2 Αυγ 2016 · I'm in a 4-year undergraduate math program, so would "upper division" be 3rd and 4th year courses, or would 2nd year courses be dragged into the mix? Edit: I am talking about US grad schools, but I go to a university in Canada. Right now, I have a GPA of about 3.3, which I hope to surpass in 3rd and 4th year to look better on my grad school app.
Undergraduate registration in graduate courses: Upper-division undergraduate students may enroll in 5000-level courses with consent of the instructor. Normally, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.00. To enroll in 6000-level courses, a student must have senior standing, consent of the instructor, and an upper-division GPA of at least 3.00.
To convert a percentage-based GPA to the 4.0 scale, you'll want to look up a conversion chart or use the general guidelines: 90-100% = A (4.0), 80-89% = B (3.0), 70-79% = C (2.0), 60-69% = D (1.0), and below 60% = F (0.0).
Multiply grade value by the number of credits for total grade points. Divide the total number of grade points by the number of credits carried. (S/U option grades are not calculated in the GPA.) The GPA value is displayed to the hundredths place and not rounded up (i.e., 3.248 = 3.24).
