Applicants for graduate study at the University of Florida are required to compute their college-level junior and senior year grade point average, unless your institution uses a non-traditional grading system. UF Upper GPA different than calculated. I'm on the edge of graduating with honors and I'm worried about by upper-division gpa. They don't round the gpa. As of last semester, my gpa on degree audit is 3.430; however, when I calculate it on excel and use UF'S gpa calculator it says that its 3.439.
Most master's programs on campus care about your upper division GPA (your GPA in the classes after you hit 60 credit hours). For most people, that will be a combination of general and major courses, but heavier on the major.

Suppose on the 8.0 scale, 8.0 is an A, 7.0 is a B, 6.0 is a C, and so on. In that case, you can divide your GPA by 2 to get the correct value on the 4.0 scale, for instance, a 6.0 GPA would be a 3.0 on the 4.0 scale.
