2 Αυγ 2016 · See this pattern in the traditional course numbering scheme of 1-99 for remedial courses, 101-199 for first year courses, 201-299 for those of the second year, etc. In this context, "upper division" are those courses for upperclassmen, those past the midpoint of their studies: the ones numbered 301-499. Except in the School of Law and the College of Pharmacy, the last two digits of the course number indicate the rank of the course. If 01 through 19, the course is of lower-division rank; if 20 through 79, of upper-division rank; if 80 through 99, of graduate rank.
The Upper-division undergraduate GPA includes the entire term in which you attempted your 60th credit hour and continues until completion of the baccalaureate degree. If you are experiencing difficulties reporting your upper-division undergraduate GPA, you may input your cumulative undergraduate GPA in that space in the meantime.

The requirements tab states that a GPA of 3.0 in all upper-division coursework is required. Upon doing the math, I discovered that while my overall GPA meets this requirement, my post-60th hour does not: it is at about 2.85 or so.
Your grade point average (GPA) is simply the mathematical average, per credit hour, of all your grades. It is calculated by adding up all of your quality points and dividing them by the number of credit hours you have attempted.
If you apply to graduate school before you have graduated, your calculation of grade point average (GPA) would continue up to but not include the current term of enrollment. The current term is considered a term in progress.
