Current students who would like to take courses outside Wheaton College for credit must submit a transfer credit approval form before registering at another institution. This form can be found on the Office of the Registrar's forms page.
Transfer of Credit Approval. Transfer Credit Approval (Study Abroad) Tutorial Form - Undergraduate. The Withdrawal or Cancellation of Enrollment form can be found in the Portal under the "Student Forms" section.
Continuing students wishing to take courses at another college must complete a Transfer Credit Approval Form prior to taking the course to confirm that the course will transfer to Wheaton College, for the requirement they are seeking to meet.
Many Wheaton students complete summer school work or college-level work at other institutions while on leave of absence from Wheaton. The process for earning Wheaton degree credit for this work is outlined on the Application for Transfer Credit Form available in the Office of the Registrar.
Current Wheaton students require pre-approval for any course they plan to transfer back to Wheaton College. Current students should use the Transfer Course Approval form located on the forms page of the Registrar's website.
Junior college students may transfer up to two years (62 semester hours) of credit. Students applying for transfer to Wheaton must complete the following steps: Submit a completed application form along with a nonrefundable application fee (if applicable) using our institutional application.
