brown mushroom now prevents spawns at its own block. in swamp slime farms, the spawning area can be covered in brown mushroom and then only slimes will spawn. sky light eliminated + block light 1 = highest spawn rates. Wow. I knew it was dramatically different, but that’s crazy.
