Answer 1 of 4: I have heard alot about Vanilla extract from DR. Where will be a good place to buy at a reasonable price. We are staying at a resort in Macao beach. Is it better to stop by a local grocery store? or get it from the resort or airport?
It is pure vanilla not extract. You can buy cinnamon and any spices at the market in Bavaro or the supermaercado. If you can arrange a trip to the cigar factory (Don Lucas) you will get better quality than the venders. Your tour rep at the resort should be able to help with a tour.
