Welcome to the Wilderness Battlefield Driving Tour! This 8-part tour guides you though the events that shaped the Battle of the Wilderness in May of 1864. The Battle of the Wilderness was a turning point in the war that would shape events to come.

Stop by the Chancellorsville Visitor Center on Virginia Route 3 (the Plank Road) for museum exhibits and an orientation to the area.
Located in the city of Fredericksburg and surrounding Spotsylvania County, Central Virginia, the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Battlefield Park is home to the battle sites of four important American Civil War battles: Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, the Wilderness, and Spotsylvania Court House.
