Ipad Pro vs Ipad Air. Question. I am looking to buy an iPad as a secondary to my laptop that I can take on the go quickly and easily whether on flights or to meetings. The main things I will be doing on it will be using/editing on Excel/PowerPoint/Word as well as emailing.
Go with the Pro, 100%. The 120Hz display makes a HUGE difference. The base model iPad Air is probably the greatest value iPad/tablet bar none. If you need more storage than that, though, I can't recommend spending the extra $50 to go with the base model iPad Pro enough.
I'd say the Pro is definitely the better choice - better speakers, ProMotion, FaceID, slightly larger screen, ultrawide camera, LiDAR... plus the reports of the new Air having some build quality concerns.
