Whiplash is the name of multiple supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are commonly depicted as members of Iron Man 's rogues gallery. The original Whiplash (Mark Scarlotti) also went by the name Blacklash.

He’s a mashup of a 1980s villain named Blacklash and one of Iron Man’s original enemies, Anton Vanko the Crimson Dynamo. The Crimson Dynamo was a product of Iron Man’s Cold War origins.
