White's tree frogs, scientifically known as Litoria caerulea, are charming amphibian’s native to Australia, renowned for their endearing appearance and docile nature. Sporting vibrant green bodies with creamy white undersides, they're arboreal, often found in trees or foliage near water bodies.
White’s Tree Frogs are an incredibly docile amphibian that is unafraid of humans and often lives in close contact with people throughout its habitat. These chubby frogs are also known as Dumpy Tree Frogs because of their pudgy bodies and the large bulges they grow above their heads as adults.
White’s Tree Frogs hydrate and gain oxygen through their skin, although they do have lungs in which to breathe. For this reason, you must provide a fresh water source in a suitably sized bowl where the White’s Tree Frog can sit in the bowl. This also helps keep their skin moist.
