This Android application claims to contain the same JPS translation in audio files, even though the provider does not seem to me to be reliable.
The first American Jewish English translation of the Torah, and subsequently of the entire Tanakh, was the 19th century effort by Isaac Leeser. Leeser began with a five-volume, bilingual Hebrew–English edition of the Torah and haftarot, The Law of God (Philadelphia, 1845).

Traditionally, Jews have claimed that all five books of the Torah were revealed to on Mount Sinai. The prophets were the authors of their own books as well as others that are attributed to them (Lamentations is attributed to the prophet Jeremiah), and Kings David Solomon each wrote several works (eg. Psalms is attributed to King David).
