The Koren Jerusalem Bible is a Hebrew/English Tanakh by Koren Publishers Jerusalem and was the first Bible published in modern Israel in 1962
The Tanakh, or Hebrew Bible, is Judaism’s foundational text. “Tanakh” is an acronym for the three major sections of the canon, the Torah (the Five Books of Moses), Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings).
The prophets were the authors of their own books as well as others that are attributed to them (Lamentations is attributed to the prophet Jeremiah), and Kings David and Solomon each wrote several works (eg. Psalms is attributed to King David).
The Steinsaltz Tanakh is the English version of Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz's pioneering modern translation and commentary on the Hebrew Bible. The work aims to make the text clear, engaging, and accessible to readers of all backgrounds and to let the Torah speak in its own words.

The complete Tanakh in Hebrew, with commentaries by Rashi, Radak, Ramban, and Ralbag was printed in 1517 by Daniel Bomberg and edited by Felix Pratensis under the name Mikraot Gedolot. The Tanakh was handed down in manuscript form along with a method of checking the accuracy of the transcription known as mesorah.
