18 Ιαν 2022 · Starbucks provides up to two hours of paid time off for partners to receive the vaccine, up to three doses, as well as up to 4 hours of paid time off if partners experience vaccine-related side effects and miss a scheduled shift within 48 hours of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine or booster.

You can use your sick hours to take care of yourself or your kid(s) who are sick, and also to be able to go to the doctor on a day you otherwise would have had to work. Just be nice and try to not call off 30 minutes before your shift if you have to miss to go to an appointment.

I've yet to use the insurance since i'm new but talk to your store manager and see if they can accomodate your hours. I'm also allowed to have extra breaks if needed. To become eligible you have to earn at least 240 hours over 3 consecutive calendar months (average of 20 hours a week).
