Can I use Wi-Fi calling with TravelPass? Wi-Fi calling isn't included with TravelPass. Wi-Fi calling to a country other than the US is charged international long distance rates whether or not you have an international travel plan.
25 Μαρ 2019 · 1) If you have an international plan (and I had the $100/mo plan) then you can make cellular calls to and from the countries in the plan, including of course the country you are visiting. 2) If you have an international plan you can make WiFi calls TO the US as part of the plan.
If WiFi is available then phone calls and SMS will work with no problem as per "WiFi calling". The "magic" happens (I hope) when there is no WiFi but just the local public cellular data (to which I'll have access through the eSIM) and Verizon WiFi calling feature will use the local public cellular data.
