You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the news channel. If that doesn’t work you may actually have to download the Wii version of the news channel via the patcher
5 Οκτ 2024 · I've never had a problem with riiconnect24, and i've recently encountered this errors in both the forecast channel and the news channel. I've tried reinstalling riiconnect24, i've deleted SYSCONF... everything, but no results... I would appreciate any help. The Error means Data / URL corrupted.
31 Αυγ 2024 · WiinUPro 0.9.7. Updated! This release features additional language support for French and Spanish. If you have a language you are willing to translate into there's a google doc for that! Language changes require restart to take full effect.

In the vWii, CompatInstaller can be run in Wii U mode to install the Homebrew Channel. Using the ISO installer. This method requires a drivechip and a DVD, and won't work with the 3.3 firmware update or newer. DVD images for more recent releases are currently unavailable, though you can get beta8 and then update.
