  4. I currently use my wii on a pc monitor. Using a video to vga adapter. Yellow rca goes in, vga goes out to monitor. And I have a rca to 3.5mm adapter for the sound. Your idea should also work.

  6. I finally received the RetroTINK adapter for my Wii and it works GREAT! I just took my component cables coming from my Yamaha receiver, that used to go to component input on old TV, and ran through RetroTINK then hdmi out to TV and voila!
