I use HD Retrovision component cables into Component-to-HDMI converter box and it’s great. But I’ve also used a Portholic Wii2HDMI dongle adapter and it’s nearly as good, significantly cheaper and easier to set up. This sub is insane when it comes to Wii2HDMI converters.
The second best way is to use an upscaler like an OSSC or a Retrotink 5X paired with component cables. This will provide stellar image quality at the cost of price. These are really best paired if you have other consoles that are analog only. The third best is component + HDMI converter.

Component to HDMI adapter. The component to HDMI adapter is one of the better options out there. It is similar to the Wii2HDMI, except instead of plugging directly into the Wii, it plugs into the component cables coming out of the Wii. It outputs at 480p.
