The Hyperkin HDMI cable is decent. Almost all of the Wii2HDMI dongles are from the same manufacturer somewhere in China, so don't pay for an expensive one. I went from a Wii2HDMI dongle that died, which worked well enough.
I’m planning to buy a pre-owned wii this summer but my TV only has HDMI. I don’t want higher quality or anything I just want to play it on regular 480p without any lags or any bullshit that’d interrupt my gaming. But do those adapters actually work?
The Mayflash Wii2HDMI has been pretty good in my experience, no noticeable lag and works great with mClassic. Though I can’t say if it’s using the same components as all the generic adapters but it feels more quality

5 Οκτ 2024 · If you do use Wii2HDMI you can enable EDTV and enable progressive scan on all Gamecube games that support it. So, no, composite shouldn't be a bit sharper. Regardless, you're limited to 480p without upscaling and upscaling is overrated, IMHO.
