There is definitely a degradation of picture quality during the conversion process that leaves you with a washed-out image. 5 Οκτ 2024 · Given the reduced input lag and slightly better image I think the Wii2HDMI adapter is worth the price tag. I wouldn't go with a cheap Wii HDMI off eBay that does scaling (720p,1080p), not only will the cheap adapter do a bad job at scaling but will also add tones input lag.
I’m planning to buy a pre-owned wii this summer but my TV only has HDMI. I don’t want higher quality or anything I just want to play it on regular 480p without any lags or any bullshit that’d interrupt my gaming. But do those adapters actually work?
