Samuel Brookner Gould (1910–1997) was the 1st chancellor of the University of California, Santa Barbara from 1962 to 1962.
Samuel Julius Gould (13 October 1924 – 4 December 2019) was Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Nottingham. After studying at Balliol College, Oxford, where he gained an MA in PPE, he worked at Bletchley Park as a codebreaker.

Samuel A Gould, 76, long time Ithaca resident, died Sunday, August 4, 1996 in Delray Community Hospital, Delray Beach, Florida. He was born in Manhattan, son of the late Joseph and Esther Kaufman. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Hazel, who died in 1973.
