SKYDOG RANCH is a forever home for wild mustangs and burros who have ended up in horrible and dangerous situations - at kill pens, at auctions, or in unloving homes where they have often been starved and neglected.
9 Νοε 2019 · Photo by American Wild Horse Campaign. There is an abundance of wildlife in this area including California's largest and most significant wild horse herd that have called the forest home since the 1800s.
In these competitions, 100 participants (professionals and amateurs) have 100 days to tame a wild mustang from a BLM facility and then present each horse to be judged on trainability, versatility and adoptability.
20 Μαρ 2020 · Some are trained and later adopted, while a lucky few find their way to the 5,000 acre Wild Horse Sanctuary in Modoc County in Northern California. There they roam free on the foothills of Mount Lassen, visited only occasionally by human tourists on sightseeing expeditions. California.
