24 Ιαν 2024 · New Mexico Counties is pleased to announce the 2024-2025 Wildfire Risk Reduction Program. This grant program assists communities throughout New Mexico to reduce the risk posed by wildland fire on non-federal lands.
Work is completed on a variety of land ownership (private, Tribal, local government) to reduce wildfire threat, promote watershed protection and restoration, and prevent the spread of invasive species, insect infestation and disease.

Funds from the grant can be used for construction and repair costs, operating capital, asset purchases, and administrative costs.
