Our menus are developed monthly to reflect the students' tastes and preferences. The monthly menu is posted on the district website, in the local newspaper and a paper copy may be obtained in the main office of your child's school.
WCS partners with Sodexo to provide healthy meals each school day for our students. Breakfast and lunch service are available at each school building. Visit myplate.gov if you would like to learn more about nutritious meal planning for your family at home.
This appendix contains four weeks of sample menus for breakfast and lunch for elementary, middle, and high school and a prototype of a menu checking tool developed by the committee. In some cases in the menus that follow, food descriptions are more limited than they should be when planning actual menus.

Senior Citizen Lunch Program. As a partner in community wellness, the Food Service Department offers the Senior Citizen home-delivered and congregate meals program, currently located at the West Intermediate School.
Students may choose from a variety of lunch options including alternate meals at all grade levels. The high school has more choices including a salad bar and a pizza line. The middle and the high schools also have a snack bar with a wide variety of approved snack items.
